North Adelaide Golf Club, South Course

The North Adelaide Golf Club, South Course is an 18-hole public championship golf course. It is the premier of three golf courses housed at the NAGC. The NAGC is the North Adelaide Golf Club, a 54-hole public golf oasis of green, laid out in an urban environment.

To establish the North Adelaide Golf Club, South Course, NAGC had to lease the piece of the scenic parklands that surround the CBD, from the Adelaide City Council. The South Course is a true urban golf course that combines history with ease of access as it is set in the heart of North Adelaide city. The South Course was founded during the 1890’s. It is arguably the finest & oldest golf course in the province of South Australia with excellent fairways and true greens.

The North Adelaide GC, South course is one of South Australia’s golfing jewels, best known for its outstanding golf services. But unlike the NAGC North Course, the par 71 NAGC - South Course is no piece of cake. It lies on a tough but gently rolling landscape. The well-manicured fairways are seeded with a special Kikuyu hybrid grass spices that flourishes well under Australian weather.

The South course is home to the yearly held Lord Mayor’s Golf Trophy and also occasionally hosts several PGA pro-am events.
