Young Talent Discovered at First-Pace Golf Day For Girls

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, 13 NOVEMBER 2014 – Nadia Lawrance (17) and Jessica Dendy-Young (13) have been awarded a golf development prize package valued at R80,000 per girl by the inaugural First-Pace Golf Day for Girls, which took place at the Pearl Valley Golf & Country Estate in Franschhoek on 11 November 2014.

Final Results

Selected senior: Nadia Lawrance (17) from Paarl Gimnasium. Senior runner-up: Ashley Mills (16) from Bridge House School. Selected junior: Jessica Dendy-Young (13) from Bridge House School. Junior runner-up: Charlize Adams (12) from Bergendal Intermediate

Prize Package (valued at R80,000 per girl)

  • Two return tickets on any FlySafair flight and car rental for three days
  • Full Junior Membership at Pearl Valley Golf & Country Estate
  • A golf travel bag (with wheels)
  • Golf clothing (cape, polo shirt, shorts and shoes) – sponsored by Cobra and Puma
  • A golf bag – sponsored by Cobra and Puma
  • A full set of golf irons – sponsored by Cobra and Puma

Runner-up prize

  • The runners up were awarded 6 x 30 minute golf coaching vouchers from Swingfit.
