Mawson Lakes Golf Club

Mawson Lakes GC is a fairly easy golf course situated on a piece of land owned by the University of South Australia. This golf course paradise is located just 12 kilometres from the city of Adelaide CBD in the rapidly developing City of Salisbury at Mawson Lakes. The Mawson Lakes Golf Club is a picturesque mashie golf course. Mawson Lakes Golf course has 9 holes but plays to 18 tee spots and 70 pars. On the front nine Mawson Lakes Golf course has two par 3s, six par 4s and one par 5 totalling an estimated men’s tee length of 5470 metres.

The Mawson Lakes golf course was built in 1979, with major redevelopments done by Neil Crafter from Crafter and Mogford Golf Strategies since 1999 - 2013.

The golf course at Mawson Lakes Golf Club is a privately owned golf hub. Guests are welcome for a round of golf if only accompanied by a club member.

The fairways at Mawson Lakes GC are covered with kikuyu grass with small but very well keep bent grass greens along a small to medium bush rough.

The most challenging hole at Mawson Lakes Golf Club is arguably the 4th which is also the 13th if playing for 18 holes. It is tougher as it has a small sloppy green with a giant front left bunker guarding it.
